SAAQ Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Inspections American Road Service is an SAAQ truck and semi inspection centre. Quebec heavy vehicle mechanical inspection agents are businesses that have been certified by the SAAQ to conduct mechanical inspections on Semi’s and other heavy vehicles that come under the mandatory mechanical inspection program.
Heavy vehicle agents perform mechanical inspections on the following types of vehicles: Vehicles weighing over 3,000 kg (e.g. Truck tractors, trailers, buses, etc.);
Transformed or modified vehicles, hand-crafted vehicles, damaged or rebuilt vehicles, vehicles from been placed in storage or discarded, etc.
